How to Maintain Your Professionally Cleaned Shower

Now that your shower is professionally cleaned, a few simple habits will help keep it looking great for as long as possible.

1. Dry the Shower Quickly

Moisture is the main cause of mold growth and soap buildup. The faster your shower dries, the better.
Using a squeegee after each shower is one of the easiest and most effective ways to prevent water spots and residue. It’s inexpensive, quick, and makes a big difference. I recommend this squeegee from Amazon.

2. Improve Ventilation

Airflow is just as important as drying the surfaces. After showering, leave the shower door or curtain open for at least 20–30 minutes. If you have a bathroom exhaust fan, let it run during and after your shower to remove excess moisture from the air.

3. dAILY AND MONTHLY cLEANING

About once a month, we recommend using Tilex Mold & Mildew Remover. Spray the affected areas, allow it to dwell for 10–15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. This helps prevent mold and mildew from taking hold and keeps your shower surfaces fresh.

If your shower reaches a point where regular maintenance isn’t enough, give us Clean Zone Tile a call. We’ll restore it to like-new condition quickly and professionally.
